The Linden Residence
Arboldswil, Switzerland
Private residence transformation
The Linden Residence is a private residence transformation in Arboldswil, Switzerland, focused on creating a calmer, more fluid and cohesive way of living within an existing single-family home.
The project redefines the main social areas through spatial clarity, material continuity and a softer relationship between kitchen, dining and living. Existing layouts are reworked to open the home’s central spaces, allowing everyday rituals to unfold with greater ease, warmth and connection.
Natural textures, muted tones and carefully integrated architectural details shape an atmosphere that feels grounded, contemporary and quietly intimate. Our work focused on the interior design concept, spatial planning, material direction and visual development, creating a home that supports both daily function and long-term comfort.
Softness becomes a key architectural language. Curved transitions, rounded edges, and integrated elements replace rigid boundaries, allowing spaces to connect in a more intuitive and gentle way. Light, material, and proportion are carefully balanced to create a sense of quiet continuity throughout the house.
A warm, natural palette—wood, stone, and textured finishes—grounds the project, bringing depth and tactility while maintaining a restrained and timeless atmosphere. Bathrooms and private areas are approached as spaces of retreat, designed with simplicity and precision to support moments of calm and restoration.
More than a visual transformation, the project redefines how the home is experienced—creating an environment that feels open, grounded, and deeply connected to the way it is lived.
