Residential Project, Arboldswild

Arboldswil, Switzerland

Arboldswil, Switzerland

This project explores the transformation of a single-family home into a calm, fluid, and cohesive living environment, shaped around the rhythms of everyday life.

The design begins with a simple intention: to let the space breathe. Existing layouts are reworked to create a more open and continuous flow between kitchen, dining, and living areas—forming a central social core where daily life naturally unfolds.

Softness becomes a key architectural language. Curved transitions, rounded edges, and integrated elements replace rigid boundaries, allowing spaces to connect in a more intuitive and gentle way. Light, material, and proportion are carefully balanced to create a sense of quiet continuity throughout the house.

A warm, natural palette—wood, stone, and textured finishes—grounds the project, bringing depth and tactility while maintaining a restrained and timeless atmosphere. Bathrooms and private areas are approached as spaces of retreat, designed with simplicity and precision to support moments of calm and restoration.

More than a visual transformation, the project redefines how the home is experienced—creating an environment that feels open, grounded, and deeply connected to the way it is lived.
